If we imagine that we had spoken to a thousand audience members before and succeded (even though we havent even done it and are nervous when we do so), the mind would think that you had actually successfully spoken to a thousand audience members; and therefore you can do it again. On the other hand, if you imagine that you will shiver when you speak to just a small group of people you will shiver. This is the power of mental visualisation. This is because our mind has only a thin line between between what has happened before and what is actually we are visualising. So, leverage on this gift we have. In your next presentation, if you find it a challenge, start visualising the good things that you want it to come out with; and think of the standing ovation that you will receive. That will help.
